In our anniversary mini-interview series, Diego gives us a glimpse into his day-to-day work. He shares what customers particularly value about bürgi.com AG, what motivates him every day, and why quality means much more to him than just a professional installation.
What do you think customers value most about us?
Above all, our customers value our extensive expertise in integrated security solutions. For example, we can directly link a door modification for an electronic lock to an alarm system and provide a complete solution from a single source. In addition, we offer a high degree of flexibility and the ability to quickly find the right solution to most problems.
What motivates you in your work every day?
What motivates me most is the variety in my work. No two days are alike, and the direct interaction with our customers makes my job particularly exciting. I also really appreciate having a strong and supportive team behind me.
What does quality mean in concrete terms in your field of work?
For me, quality starts with taking precise measurements of doors, locks, and cylinders. It’s just as important to leave the work area clean once the job is done. I also carefully inspect all mechanical and electronic components so that any potential malfunctions can be identified and prevented early on.
